Our school's general environment is exceptional. Our classrooms are bright, airy, large, and spacious, creating clean and healthy air which helps in maintaining good health. The classrooms are well lit and inviting which stimulates learning. The classrooms are well equipped with supportive technologies that include interactive whiteboards, multimedia, computers and a range of other accessories. This technology supports the teachers to use a range of methods that makes the daily lessons more creative, fun and interactive to maintain student's interest.

 

Native English Teaching Environment

At SFE we provide a native English-speaking environment where children are encouraged to brainstorm, think creatively and openly share their thoughts and ideas without fear of criticism. We provide a relaxed learning environment to facilitate them to become independent in all aspects of their learning.

 

Teaching Curriculum

SFE focuses on being more natural in this journey of English learning by creating a real life environment to create a natural communication flow. Everyday life experiences, choices, and activities are built into the learning model allowing students to relate more comfortably and thus maintaining their interest in learning.

SFE curriculum is built within the conversational framework that includes, but is not limited to, reading, spelling, phonics, speaking, grammar, creative writing, art and integrated studies. We teach English through a series of workbooks used in correlation with a reading textbook, themed worksheets, class discussion and individual oral activities. Classes also include creative arts and crafts based on the current theme. The teacher uses multimedia such as educational videos and interactive whiteboard programs. Students also participate in activities in the community where the children can apply all they have learned in the classroom.
