SFBA

General School Environment

Our school's general environment is exceptional. Our classrooms are bright, airy, large, and spacious, creating clean and healthy air which helps in maintaining good health. The classrooms are well lit and inviting which stimulates learning.

SFBA maintains a small class size, this helps promote efficient class management and productive teacher student interaction. The small classroom size also makes it possible to use multiple teaching tools and methods.

Global Citizenship

The focus of SFBA is to train, teach, and nurture the students as global citizens. SFBA has developed an international curriculum that supports academic as well as character building of our students. The curriculum is set to enhance and develop the bilingual abilities of the students to nurture in them as a global citizen who has appreciation for other cultures.

Classroom Technologies

The classrooms are well equipped with the supportive technologies that include interactive whiteboards, multimedia computers and range of other accessories.

These support the teachers to use a broad range of teaching methods that make the daily lessons more creative, fun and interactive to maintain student's interest and focus.

Outdoor Activities

SFBA encourages learning outside of the classroom where the children are provided with opportunities for hands-on learning and exploration. This is achieved through community outreach activities and educational field trips around Taiwan. We believe that each child is unique and we believe in creating an environment where learning takes place through a variety of activities.

Extra-Curricular Activities

We believe that children should be given the opportunity to showcase what they are capable of, not just academically but culturally as well. We encourage children to take part in speeches, talent shows, music concerts and annual festive performances such as a Christmas performance.

Responsibility Coaching

SFBA supports activities that help children be responsible. This is achieved through various affirmative actions such as assigned weekly monitors allowing children to be responsible for their surroundings, along with the teacher. Children are encouraged to be independent and helpful in the classroom. The classroom duties include packing away materials, being a line leader, wiping tables before and after snack, properly pushing in chairs, playground monitoring, switching off lights and fans to conserve electricity, and making sure the relevant books for each lesson are handed out to peers. Children are provided with a healthy snack each day and are taught good hygiene and cleanliness.
